The service system project was created to address some of our ongoing challenges in delivering services. For several cycles, our Issue Discussion Topics focused on "infrastructure" or "service structure" or "building a bridge to service," and we heard the same struggles repeated over and over: apathy, disunity, communication problems, difficulties with our public image, and challenges delivering basic services (e.g., helplines that don't get answered). The service system project grew out of the need to find solutions to these old problems. The 2008 World Service Conference unanimously adopted a plan for this four-year project, and the 2010 conference unanimously reaffirmed the project.

There will be several workshops covering this important subject. NA World Services is having 5 workshops in through October. See the flyer for the one most convienient for you.

The South East Texas Area of Narcotics Anonymous was founded to assist the area groups in fulfilling their primary purpose to carry the message of hope to addicts who suffer from the obsession and compulsion to use drugs. Using The 12 Steps, The 12 Traditions and The 12 Concepts as our guides, we are dedicated to the premise that any addict can find freedom and a new life with the application of our simple program. SETANA serves South East Texas including Beaumont, Buna, Port Arthur, Orange, Nederland, Vidor and all surrounding areas. If addiction is the problem, we have a solution.
